Integrative clinical nutrition
I'm a certified nutritionist and effective member of the Order of Nutritionists in Portugal 4381N.

I am passionate about the power that food and nutrition have on our body, mind, health, well-being, emotions, mood, balance, concentration, etc.

My education is vast, besides the bachelor degree in Nutritional Sciences, I have a bachelor degree in Health Sciences, and several courses in macrobiotic, vegan and vegetarian diet, Chinese dietetics, paleo diet and functional nutrition.

My approach is unique, developed by me and result of my education, scientific evidence and experience.

What I do is integrative nutrition, where you are seen as an unique individual that you are, with specific needs for this exact moment of your life.  I would love to have you in this journey where you are going to get to know more about yourself, your body, and how you can improve it in several ways.
Food and nutrition are fundamental pillars for our healing.
For me, nutrition is much more than what we eat: it is what and how we eat, what we think (our internal dialogue) and how we feel / how we allow ourselves to feel and express emotions. It is how we nourish ourselves. Come with me to find out together what is the best way to nourish yourself, transform your life and become the best version of yourself.

There is an analogy that I like very much:

A person is hitting his head against the wall and has a big headache. He goes to the doctor and the doctor gives him a medicine - he gives him a helmet. The person continues to hit his head against the wall, but now with a helmet, so he doesn't feel it. He doesn't feel the symptom, but the imbalance is there. After a while, the helmet breaks down, another symptom comes, and he goes back to the doctor. He is given another medicine, another helmet. And so on. Habits are not changed, there is no internal reflection on what the person is doing or not which may be contributing to the situation, without knowing it. Helmets, in this analogy, are sometimes necessary or even fundamental for the quality or maintenance of the person's life. However, it is essential to go to the root of the imbalance - physical root (gut), emotional, mental (and spiritual) - psychoneuroimmunology.
The appointments are online, in Portuguese or English, for any part of the world.

Healthy weigh

"Which bit would you alter first? The culture." We need to nourish more, from the inside out. Nourish the mind, emotions, and the body. Because when we really nourish ourselves, when we love ourselves, we want the best for ourselves. We listen to our body. And we don't follow the path of anyone else.

Here and now

Taking care of ourselves is essential, it is fundamental, it must be our priority. That is our "salvation". It is not something external to us, a medicine, a vaccine (they are also important, and they have their function, but we cannot be 100% dependent on them and in the pharmaceutical industry!).

The intestine and our health

We know the intestine as the digestive organ that it is, but it is more than that. It is also a neurological (nervous system), endocrine (hormonal) and immune (defense) organ.
