Economical, versatile ... These vegetable "milk" is a good alternative to animal milk.

Vegetable "milk"
Ingredients
- 1 cup of skinless almonds or other nut or oat flakes or grated coconut
- 6 glasses of water
- 1 medjool date
- Pinch of cinnamon
Preparation
Place the almonds or oat flakes or other nut or the coconut flakes to be soaked in 3 glasses of water - let them soak overnight (or at least for 6 hours). At the end of this time, throw the water away.
Place the soaked almonds (or the one you used) in a food processor or in a glass and use the blender, along with 3 glasses of water (new). Add the pitted date, and a pinch of cinnamon. Grind everything until you get a homogeneous texture.
You can filter the drink with a strainer or a cloth, to separate the “deposit” - fiber - or you can leave it at that, also consuming the fiber. It can be kept for 3 to 5 days in the fridge.
